New Ambient Condition Sensor RHT 400
Make your measurement documentation even more traceable
The Multi Probe Adapter systems (MPA) and Multi Display Device (MDD) feature the possibility of connecting an Ambient Condition Sensor that constantly records and displays the room conditions which are then saved with the measurement data.
The new Ambient Condition Sensor RHT 400 (successor model of the RHT 100) records ambient temperature and relative humidity. New and absolute unique feauture: in combination with the MPA CTplus software also the local air pressure is displayed.
Skin is especially sensitive to temperature and relative humidity (RH). Therefore, it is important to monitor and save these values with the measurement results of the probes. When comparing results, you can ensure that measurements have been taken under similar conditions. For studies it is recommended to measure under the following conditions: 40-60 % RH and 20-22°C.
In addition to the quality assurance of the measurement, the knowledge of the local air pressure enables interesting study approaches in extreme situations (e.g. in high altitude, extreme weather conditions, etc.). Especially when measuring TEWL with the Tewameter® TM Hex, the local air pressure is included in the measurement value calculation, making it even more accurate.
